What I did 5/10/13

It was a long day. I got to sleep in, but I left at noon to head to school. I went to the gym. I did mostly weights with only 10 min of cardio. Showered and went to school for my meeting with my engineering design team. Even with the meeting (that was from 4pm-10pm), I was able to eat okay. Here is what I ate throughout the day:

Breakfast:

1/2 English Muffin with an egg, one slice of turkey bacon and 1 T. of guacamole. A small banana.  Coffe and creamer. 319 calories.

Snack AM:

3/4 T. of nutella. 75 calories.

Lunch:

TJ’s Israeli couscous with cajon seasoning. Pickled beet egg. One boiled egg. One light string cheese. 403 calories.

Snack PM:

1 medium Fuji apple. 2 T. crunchy PB. 262 calories.

Dinner:

TJ’s Israeli couscous with cajon seasoning. 2/5 package of dried seaweed. Stir-fry veggies. Salmon. 370 calories.

Snack Late Night:

Organic fruit strip. Organic popcorn. 145 calories.

Total Calories:1574

Exercise Calories: 284

Net Calories: 1290

Note to self: MORE FREAKING WATER.

Must. Work. Out.

Time to up my game

I think I am going to need to up my workout intensity. I haven’t really been seeing  much progress, just maintenance. I also really need to get my nutrition in check. Sigh. Life is hard. Plus, I have finals in about 12 hours. I should probably get on that. Summer school bites the big one.

Finding Balance

Hi Guys.

RIght now I am on summer break, and I am taking 2 summer classes in 5weeks. It has been mostly easy to maintain my workout and healthy eating schedule, as these classes are nothing compared to the crazy, rigorous stuff that I am accustomed to in engineering.  I am, however, concerned that once school starts again in full swing that I won’t be able to maintain the balance between mind and body. Any suggestions as to how you balance college, fitness and a crazy social life (I am in a sorority)?

"Tumblr> Studying"

Grateful.

So now I have more than one motivation buddy for working out.

I also have more than one motivation buddy for studying.

Life is good.
